  • Course Description: This comprehensive initial training course introduces personnel to the principles of Human Factors (HF) in aviation maintenance, with an emphasis on error prevention, safety culture, and regulatory compliance. Aligned with FAA Advisory Circulars, EASA Part 145.A.30(e), and industry standards, the course equips participants with the knowledge and tools to identify, understand, and mitigate the human element in maintenance errors and incidents. Through interactive modules, case studies, and industry examples, trainees will explore the “Dirty Dozen” human factors, learn practical error management techniques, and develop a proactive mindset toward safety and quality in the workplace. Key Topics Include: Introduction to Human Factors and regulatory requirements The Dirty Dozen: 12 common maintenance-related human errors Communication, fatigue, complacency, stress, and distractions Situational awareness, teamwork, norms, and pressure Safety culture and organizational influences Practical error prevention strategies and safety reporting Human performance limitations and risk management Target Audience: All maintenance personnel, inspectors, supervisors, and support staff new to an aviation maintenance role or requiring initial Human Factors training under regulatory mandates.   • Course Description: This annual refresher course provides a comprehensive review of Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) fundamentals for personnel who work in ESD-sensitive environments. Participants will reinforce their understanding of how static electricity is generated, the damage it can cause to electronic components, and the proper handling and control methods to prevent ESD events. Key Topics Include: Refresher on static generation and ESD principles Recognition of ESD-sensitive devices and work areas Proper use of grounding devices and personal protective measures Review of workstation setup and maintenance procedures Real-world examples of ESD damage and incident prevention FAA and industry compliance expectations Target Audience: All employees who handle or come into contact with ESD-sensitive equipment, including maintenance technicians, quality inspectors, and logistics staff. Course Duration: 30–45 minutes (self-paced or instructor-led) Certification: Certificate of Completion valid for 12 months
  • Course Description: This course provides essential training on the identification, prevention, and reporting of Suspected Unapproved Parts (SUP) in accordance with FAA regulations and industry best practices. Participants will gain a clear understanding of how unapproved or counterfeit parts enter the aviation system, the risks they pose to safety and compliance, and the procedures required to properly detect and handle them within a maintenance organization. The course emphasizes the importance of traceability, documentation review, supplier controls, and reporting mechanisms. Real-world case studies are used to reinforce lessons and support the development of a compliance-focused mindset. Key Topics Include: Definition and types of Suspected Unapproved Parts (SUP) How SUPs enter the aviation supply chain FAA guidance: AC 21-29D, Order 8120.16 Visual indicators and documentation red flags Supplier evaluation and parts acceptance procedures Corrective action and reporting processes Roles of maintenance, procurement, and inspection staff Consequences of SUP findings and regulatory enforcement actions Target Audience: Maintenance technicians, inspectors, receiving and procurement personnel, and quality control staff responsible for parts handling, inspection, or sourcing.
